Records in NAS fall under either of the two categories:

- Reproducing archival materials require prior approval
from the relevant agencies or persons.
- Ask our staff about the relevant source.
- Microfilm reader printers and photocopying machines
are available in the Archives Reading Room. Photographic reproduction
is also available.
- Certified copies of records for legal purposes can be
provided upon request.

- There are no charges for using our finding aids or accessing
our records.
- NAS imposes a two-tier charge for copying archival records – reproduction
and preservation fees.
- Reproduction fees are costs for reproducing records and
are on a cost-recovery basis.
- Revenue derived from preservation fees are used to partially
offset the costs for preserving our nation’s heritage.
- Researchers can use cash, nets or cash card for payment.
