Each year, NAS hosts students from schools and tertiary institutions such as the polytechnics for attachment programmes. To ensure that the students apply their knowledge and skills obtained during their stint with NAS, they are encouraged to submit projects related to their course of studies and to NAS's mission.

This section features projects completed by student interns on attachment to NAS.

Youth of Yesteryears Exhibition
This exhibition was produced by four final-year Information Studies students from Temasek Polytechnic. The students were attached to NAS as interns between July and October 2000 and the exhibition was part of the students' coursework to allow them to apply their web publishing and multimedia designing skills to an actual project. The exhibition features the lifestyle of young people from the 1960s to the present. It features a variety of themes explored under titles such as Home Sweet Home, My Alma Mater, Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Colour Me Beautiful, and 1O'Clock 2 O'Clock 3 O'Clock Rock.
