PSA Administrative Files and Hydrographic Plans

This series consists of secretariat files which include PSA Port Regulations, and PSA reports and accounts. It also consists of legal department files which include merchant shipping rules 1973; and free trade zones and tariffs. Information systems files comprising of the study of shipping activities in Singapore, and banking terminal proposals are also included in this series. Finally, this series also contains 12 sheets of plans from the Hydrographic Department.

Meteorological Observations

This series includes meteorological registers (data on rainfall, cloud and a weather diary), aerograms, anemographs, rain gauge records and rainfall charts, records of thunderstorms, wind direction and velocity, registers of synoptic reports etc produced by various climatological stations in Singapore and Malaya. The Meteorological Registers show records of instruments used eg. barometer, dry/wet bulb, sunshine recorder etc. It also contains information on initials and international symbols used for recording weather phenomena in a weather diary.

Disabled Persons Section Case Files

The series consists mainly of case files of disabled persons. They contain the registration of disabled persons, and the rehabilitative service records and index cards. The case files give detail information on the disabled, eg., personal data, type of disability, health and personality problems, housing situation, relationship to other people, educational background, and hobbies, voluntary and government agencies giving help to the disabled etc.
