As part of NAS' mission to inculcate good recordkeeping practices to government agencies and to share the latest archival theory and methodology in archives management and preservation to overseas archivists, we organise annual conferences on various professional issues by overseas and local experts and practitioners. In 2007, our theme was planning new and remodelled repository facilities for an archives and 2006, we organised an international symposium on electronic records.
